The Tuun Gallery is, at its core, a flourishing garden of artists. Each artist we represent is like a distinct bloom, bringing their own unique colors, shapes, and fragrances to the vibrant landscape of our collective. We are dedicated to cultivating these creative blossoms, nurturing their growth, and fostering an environment where they can all thrive together.
As a gallery, we take a different approach to showcase this garden of talent.
During our annual event, we step away from the traditional method of presenting each artist’s work in isolation. Instead, we craft a living, evolving display where the diverse works of all our artists interweave, like a harmonious garden of varied blooms. The result is a cohesive experience, where each piece supports and enhances the others, creating a symphony of creativity that celebrates the richness of different styles.
Tuun began as a one-time exhibition, conceived to highlight both emerging and established artists, much like planting new seeds alongside more mature flowers.
Our mission was simple: to shine a spotlight on these creations, helping them grow and reach a diverse audience. By connecting artists with galleries, design centers, and art lovers from all walks of life, we provide fertile ground for collaboration, inspiration, and new opportunities.
The first edition of Tuun was born from the creative vision of artists Cedric Laquieze and Amy Jowil. Their goal was to curate a stylish exhibition that celebrated themes of femininity, nature, and design.
What began as a modest showcase quickly grew, featuring 11 talented artists who transformed a stunning industrial space in Amsterdam Noord (courtesy of Pre-Reserved) into a vibrant celebration of art.
This successful collaboration led to the creation of Tuun Gallery—a space designed by artists, for artists, with a mission to foster creativity and provide a platform for both emerging and established talent.
Encouraged by the success of our first editions, we are excited to announce that Tuun is expanding. We welcome new artists who share our passion for celebrating art, as well as galleries and exhibition spaces interested in joint productions.
